Baptism 
Registered parishioners should contact the parish office to make arrangements for the pre-baptismal program and date of baptism. 

Matrimony 
Registered parishioners should contact the pastor to make arrangements at least six months in advance of proposed date. 

Sacramental Preparation
Classes for First Holy Communion & Reconciliation (Second Grade and Older) and Confirmation (Ninth Grade and older) begin in the fall with completion in the spring. Classes are held on an every other year schedule and require both classroom and home curriculum. Please contact the parish office for further details and class schedule. 

Religious Education in Vietnamese
Religious education (Pre-K through Grade 9) and Sacramental Preparation take place on Sundays following the Vietnamese Mass September through June. Curriculum combines Religious Education and Vietnamese Language Classes. Please contact the parish office for more information.

To receive a copy of your baptismal certificate, please fill out the sacramental certificate request form (click here), and email it to the office manager. Please call the parish office at 651-645-9179 during normal business hours if you need any help filling out the form. 

You will need to have: 

  • Full Name At Baptism
  • Date of Birth 
  • Names of Parent(s) with  Mother's Maiden Name
  • Names of Godparent(s)
  • Name of presider's (priest's)
  • Approximate date of Baptism
  • Your contact Information (current name, phone or email address AND mailing address)
  • Please indicate any other sacraments received at St. Columba Church. (First Holy Communion, Confirmation or Marriage).

At St Columba, we are opting out of printing hardcopy of baptismal certificate on re-issuance, except the first certificate within one year of baptismal date. Subsequent requests, a PDF baptismal certificate will be emailed to you to be forwarded to the requesting parish. Newly baptized records can be picked up at the office during office hour by appointment. 

Please note, we do not release or research sacramental records for the purposes of genealogy.
